Designed to be a fully autonomous robot, HUMAN is the first attempt to produce a simple entity that has the ability of understanding and partaking in human interaction. HUMAN houses a 6U Cube_satellite Unit (which operates its actions and thought processes) as well as a domed 360 VR Camera Assembly. This was the first initial prototype.
Inspired by Cleanliness and Simplicity, with every intention of the design being as seamless as possible, great care was taken to remove the unnecessary. The result was a successful collaborative proposal between SpaceVR and NASA.
The success of the initial HUMAN prototype, allowed us to further develop the concept into a second entity that possesses greater human qualities. Through this exercise, we were able to create an accurate representation of the human form. Size, Articulation and Proportion now mirror that of a person.
